We are curious travellers that delight in showcasing Australia. We have been doing this collectively for well over 20 years. As a committed team of travel professionals providing services to international inbound and Australian guests throughout Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, we each bring knowledge, passion and real-life experience to the table in all that we do.
GC Journeys was born in 2020 when the pandemic hit our travel industry. Over a few weeks our team talked through where and more importantly how we would like to travel during this pandemic and from these discussions GC Journeys evolved.
Our GC Journeys team has health and safety at the front of mind. Not only do guests have an experienced Tour Director showing them around this amazing country, we also have a separate Travel Wellness Concierge with each group. Your Travel Wellness Concierge works with your Tour Director to ensure all guests have a seamless holiday by looking after everyone’s safety and making it easy for you to navigate the different rules and regulations that we all now have in this post pandemic world. As well, our current itineraries have been developed so that touring takes place in a single state to remove issues with domestic border crossings.
We have intentionally put together a unique selection of travel experiences with limited departures each year designed to deliver you unique and all-inclusive tours bringing together interesting, boutique and diverse experiences in each region. Our experience and depth of travel expertise is imbedded in every itinerary we curate. Being in small groups (max 24) you will enjoy the unique and personal experiences in a safe setting. All our tours are designed so you don’t have to put your hand in your pocket for entrance fees and activities. The majority meals are included with drinks at lunch and dinner. We provide quality hotels in en-suite rooms with professional and unique suppliers in each region to deliver memorable travel experiences.
We love the planning but equally we get so much joy following the progress of your tour when it is on the road. We have a professional operations team behind the scenes working with all suppliers, your Tour Director and Travel Wellness Concierge. Making your holiday experience seamless is our job.
Of course, in this dynamic travel environment, we understand the uncertainty all travellers are facing. You can rest assured – if we are forced to cancel a departure for any reason, including border closures, you will receive a full refund of any GC Journey payment received by us.
We value and support travel agents as they are a very important part of your travel process. We only work with quality Travel Agents who can book your preferred GC Journey experience and will take care of your complete travel needs.
