Arrive into Launceston by 4pm to check into your hotel. Meet in the evening for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant (D)

DAY 2 – Launceston & Tassie’s Tasty North East
After a morning cruise in the Cataract Gorge we explore the North East region of Tasmania, tasting some of the local delicacies on the way, including a vineyard, distillery and lavender farm. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 – Launceston to Cradle Mountain
This morning you take a guided tour of the Beaconsfield Heritage & Mine Museum before driving through the rolling farm land and winding forest roads to Cradle Mountain. You will stop on the way to participate in a fascinating truffle hunt with relaxed lunch before taking in the murals of the town of Sheffield. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 – Cradle Mountain
We enjoy a guided tour of Dove Lake in the heart of the Cradle Mountain National Park this morning before a relaxed afternoon at leisure. (B,L,D)

DAY 5 – Cradle Mountain to Hobart
Leaving the mountain behind we travel through the ever changing landscape towards Hobart. This morning we stop at Queenstown for a fascinating insight into the region’s mining and forestry history before continuing on to Hobart. On the journey we visit Mt Field National Park and view the famous Russell Falls. (B,L,D)

DAY 6 – Hobart & Tassie’s Stunning South West
This morning we venture into the south west wilderness to explore the ancient forests on a guided tour at the Tahune Airwalk. In the afternoon we stop at a local distillery for a wine and cheese tasting experience. (B,L,D)

DAY 7 – Hobart & Breathtaking Bruny Island
Enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Bruny Island, tasting all of the delicacies from this region’s abundant artisan producers.
Our gastronomic journey includes tastings of honey, oysters, cheese, beer, fudge and a delectable lunch. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 – Hobart – Local delights
Today we take in the sweeping views of the city and harbour from the very top of Mount Wellington (weather permitting) before a vineyard tasting and lunch.
In the afternoon we take in the incredible displays at the renowned Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) where we can explore at leisure. On our return to Hobart the tasting journey continues with a celebratory farewell dinner on the picturesque Hobart waterfront. (B,L,D)
