DAY 2 – Launceston & Tassie’s North East – 22nd December 21
After a morning cruise in the Cataract Gorge you’ll explore the North East region of Tasmania, tasting some of the local delicacies on the way, including a vineyard, distillery and lavender farm. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 – Launceston to Cradle Mountain – 23rd December 21
This morning you take a guided tour of the Beaconsfield Heritage & Mine Museum before driving through the rolling farm land and winding forest roads to Cradle Mountain. You stop to take in a relaxed lunch overlooking the Western Tiers before time to explore the quaint village of Sheffield. This evening you will enjoy a private nocturnal wildlife tour within Cradle Mountain National Park.

DAY 4 – Cradle Mountain
After a leisurely morning, today you take a tour of the stunning Gunns Plains Caves before a delicious lunch and tasting at a local vineyard. Arriving back at Cradle Mountain, the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure before a sumptuous group dinner at the lodge. (B,L,D)

DAY 5 – Cradle Mountain – 25th December 21

DAY 6 – Cradle Mountain to Hobart – 26th December 21
Leaving the mountain behind you travel through the ever changing landscape towards Hobart. This morning you stop at Queenstown for a fascinating insight into the region’s mining and forestry history before continuing on to Hobart. On way you visit Mt Field National Park and view the famous Russell Falls (B,L,D)

DAY 7 – Hobart & Tassie’s South West – 27th December 21
This morning you venture into the south west wilderness to explore the ancient forests on a guided tour at the Tahune Airwalk. In the afternoon you stop at Willie Smiths Apple Shed for a fascinating distillery experience. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 – Hobart & Bruny Island – 28th December 21
Enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Bruny Island, tasting all of the delicacies from this region’s abundant artisan producers.
